Fees & political parties
Taxation with representation
Every trade pays a 1% fee in SOL. At war, the sell-side fee scales with panic velocity:
f_sell = min( 5%, 1% + β · max(0, V_sell / R − v₀) )These are capital-flight controls, priced by the stampede itself — and the toll refills the treasury: panic sellers fund the defense they’re fleeing.
The fee split creates your parties
Fee flow splits four ways, defaulting to:
| Share | Symbol | Default | Goes to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Treasury | φ_T | 50% | the war chest (guns) |
| Stakers | φ_S | 25% | staker yield |
| Buyback-burn | φ_B | 15% | reserve / backing (price) |
| Protocol | φ_P | 10% | the protocol |
Your DAO can move the split within bounds. That one dial creates your country’s political parties: hawks who want φ_T (guns) versus doves who want φ_B (price). Every season, the fight over the tax rate is real politics with real consequences.
Because the buyback share is executed as buyback-and-burn, backing per token R/s only
ever rises with volume — so even the doves’ agenda compounds into a rising floor for every
holder.
